5th virtual meeting of the “Gas in Plants Workshop”
The 5th virtual meeting of the “Gas in Plants Workshop” is approaching soon on this 19th of January at 15:00 UTC time (through Zoom platform). Registration through the link. The “Gas in Plants Workshop” is an informal meeting to put together a community of researchers interested in gas-phase phenomena in plants at a wide scale, from detailed physiology to ecosystem level processes. Gas-related plant themes include a broad range of interactions with both abiotic and biotic elements, which affect plant productivity and survival. This time, Josep Barba (CREAF, Barcelona) and Kolby Jardine (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, US) will talk about methane and volatile organic carbon emissions by plants.

SPS Summer School 2022 - Plant sugar metabolism, transport and signaling in a challenging environment
The SPS Summer School 2022 is a one-week program for outstanding and enthusiastic master and PhD students, as well as post-docs working in plant biology on biological questions related to sugar transport, metabolism and/or signaling. It will provide them with an introduction on several aspects of the molecular and cell biology of sugar metabolism, transport and signaling in relation to global climate changes.
